Welcome to our social network website and mobile app Rendezvous ("the Platform") for photo sharing and map making. By using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions of use ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the Platform.

1. User Conduct

1.1 You are solely responsible for your use of the Platform and any content that you post or share on the Platform.

1.2 You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict or inhibit their use of the Platform.

1.3 You must not use the Platform to post, upload, or transmit any content that is unlawful, defamatory, threatening, harassing, obscene, offensive, or otherwise objectionable.

1.4 You must not use the Platform to engage in any activity that is fraudulent, misleading, or that impersonates any person or entity.

1.5 You must not use the Platform to send unsolicited messages or to spam other users.

2. Inappropriate Content

2.1 We do not allow the posting of any content on the Platform that is illegal, discriminatory, hateful, or that incites violence or promotes terrorism.

2.2 We reserve the right to remove any content that we deem to be inappropriate or offensive, or that violates these Terms or our Privacy Policy.

3. Child Safety and CSAM Compliance

3.1 We expressly prohibit any form of Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) on the Platform.

3.2 Users can report concerns directly within the app via content reporting features (flag buttons). This mechanism is accessible without leaving the app, enabling timely reporting of any suspected CSAE or CSAM.

3.3 Upon becoming aware of any CSAM, we will promptly remove it in accordance with our published policy and applicable laws. We reserve the right to report confirmed CSAM to appropriate authorities—such as the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children—or to other relevant regional organizations as required by law.

3.4 We comply with all applicable child protection and safety laws and regulations. This includes having protocols for reporting CSAM when identified, as legally mandated.

3.5 Our systems automatically scan all ingested content against CSAM. Any such content identified will be removed and reported to the appropriate authorities as required by law.

3.6 We have appointed a designated child safety officer who is responsible for handling Google Play notifications and inquiries related to CSAE or CSAM. This individual has authority to represent our enforcement and review processes and to take action as necessary.

4. Profanity

4.1 The use of profanity is not permitted on the Platform.

4.2 We reserve the right to remove any content that contains profanity or other offensive language.

5. Bad Behaviour

5.1 We do not tolerate any form of bad behaviour on the Platform, including but not limited to bullying, harassment, or discrimination.

5.2 We reserve the right to take any action we deem necessary to address any instances of bad behaviour, including the removal of offending content and the suspension or termination of user accounts.

5.3 We prohibit the creation or sharing of any content on the Platform that is illegal, infringes on the rights of others, or is harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.

5.4 We reserve the right to remove or delete any content that we determine, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms or our policies.

5.5 We also reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform if you engage in any behavior that we determine, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms or our policies.

5.6 We encourage users to report any inappropriate content or bad behavior on the Platform by contacting us on our support form located here.

6. User-Generated Content

6.1 You retain ownership of any content that you post or share on the Platform, subject to our license to use and display such content as set out in our Privacy Policy.

6.2 You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, and irrevocable license to use, copy, modify, display, and distribute any content that you post or share on the Platform.

6.3 You represent and warrant that any content that you post or share on the Platform does not infringe the intellectual property rights or any other rights of any third party.

6.4 The Platform allows users to create and share user-generated content, including but not limited to photos, comments, and other materials.

6.5 By creating or sharing user-generated content on the Platform, you represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to use and share such content.

6.6 You agree to only create and share user-generated content that is lawful, appropriate, and does not violate these Terms, our Privacy Policy, or any applicable laws or regulations.

6.7 We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to monitor, review, edit, or delete any user-generated content that we determine in our sole discretion violates these Terms or our policies.

6.8 You acknowledge and agree that we have no responsibility or liability for any user-generated content created or shared by other users on the Platform.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

7.1 We make no warranties or representations regarding the Platform, including but not limited to its availability, security, or functionality.

7.2 We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any content on the Platform.

7.3 We disclaim all liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Platform or any content posted or shared on the Platform.

7.4 THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NONINFRINGEMENT. WE MAKE NO WARRANTY THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or any content posted or shared on the Platform.

8.2 Our liability for any direct damages arising from your use of the Platform or any content posted or shared on the Platform shall be limited to the amount paid by you, if any, to use the Platform.

8.3 IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY USER-GENERATED CONTENT YOU CREATE OR SHARE ON THE PLATFORM. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU, IF ANY, FOR ACCESSING THE PLATFORM. 9. Termination

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

10.2 Any dispute arising from your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of The Commonwealth of Australia.

11. Changes to these Terms
